The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested dozens of people in connection with alleged voter fraud and election-related offenses across the United States. According to the statement, in several cases those named admitted to registering to vote or casting ballots without the right to do so.

Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin said, "The patriots of ICE have arrested dozens of non-citizens who illegally voted in American elections." Mullin added that the Trump administration "will not allow illegal aliens to steal the votes of hardworking American citizens."

Acting ICE Director David J. Venturella said the arrests were carried out with federal, state and local law enforcement partners, following "careful, methodical investigations." He said that when the facts support criminal charges, the agency will pursue them.

The cases cited involve people from Honduras, Somalia, Mexico, Cuba, Germany, Nicaragua, Vietnam, Venezuela, Cambodia, Guatemala and El Salvador. According to the sources, some allegedly voted in elections from 1992, 2020, 2022, 2024 and 2026. Authorities say several have criminal records, including convictions for domestic violence, drug possession, cocaine sales and larceny, as well as DUI arrests.

According to DHS, the investigations are ongoing and the 13 cases mentioned are only some of those being pursued.
